Thanks for the suggestion breakthrough. So, my wife got her card today. After activation, I had her call customer service to confirm what the bonus and terms were. They just read off the 70K points for a 5K spend in 3 months verbiage. No warning about not being eligible for the bonus. That's encouraging but not conclusive. So we'll see what happens.
The Gas and Water Companies only charge about $1.95 processing fee so you can pay as much as you want on your bill. The Electric Companies will only let you pay the amount of the billed and charge the $1.95 processing fee.
Telephone bills, Cell Phone bills, Internet bills, Office Supplies purchased at Staples, Office Depot or similar type stores it is better to use the Chase Ink Card that give 5 Points per dollars on all charges from any of those vendors and 2 points per dollar on gasoline purchases.
