The only LHW property I regularly patronized lately has been taken over by a scaring middle eastern clientele (all doors open, guards for the ladies, the smell etc.....) where as a gay couple we felt increasingly uncomfortable

So just give up LC membership!

BTW: A former chairman of LHW I met last week just refurbished a boutique property (room rate CHF 160 to 180) on Lake Geneva in the lakeside village of Cully, just on the water. What a trend!
Well the average standards of most R&C are nothing to write home about either. Some properties may be interesting individually but as a brand quite dead, much like LHW.
