Many years ago on Northwest Airlines (Remember them?) I had a go-around at TVC that could have turned into an emergency. We touched our back wheels on the runway, and then full power take-off right away. Pilot came on the PA and announced a small aircraft was stalled at the end of the runway. I hope ground communication has improved substantially since then. That's still my only go-around ever.
