Not sure how the timetables might look like hah. Many lines in Tokyo are starting to fuse or interconnect between different operators.

Hopefully that means we can get some red eye flights back from SFO to HND.
Admittedly a pipe dream (oh the pun that is coming....)

I am thinking of the SIN, HKG, BKK originating flights that go on to Nth America or Europe and vice versa. If one arrives into HND and departs from NRT the current or expanded trains would require a very long connection. If a 15-20 minute transbay tube existed we could basically have both airports functioning as one whole.
