DYKWIA is in full swing here LOL!

(And if the Courtyard in Europe gives you 10 Euros are you going to give them back a few Euros?)
A documented Platinum Elite Welcome Gift choice at Courtyard, AC Hotels, and MOXY is daily $10 USD F&B credit for member+1. Outside the United States, it's the local equivalent of $10 USD.

Not 10 Canadian Dollars. Not 10 Hong Kong Dollars. Not 10 Euros. Not 10 Japanese Yen.

Nobody is demanding, "I WANT $3 MORE!!!!!!!!" than the documented benefit.

The guest should not have to say anything, except to choose the Welcome Gift and to say "thank you," if so inclined. The hotel has the responsibility to offer and provide the documented Elite benefits, without shortchanging the Elite guest.

I don't understand why some folks on this forum defend hotels that cheat.
