I was lucky enough to get an AA miles award from DFW to MEL with a 2 hour layover in SYD. I now want to spend 3-4 days in Sydney. If I as AA to book with a stopover will I lose the seats? Are stopovers possible? Or should I just get off the plane in SYD and buy a later ticket to MEL?
