I just stayed here over the weekend. A bit of an odd place, but I think part of it might be i’m not used to legacy Marriott hotels.

I booked a base room and was upgraded to a large suite on one of the top floors. Lots of space, two robes and Bvulgari toiletries. the furnishing was really odd, a bit like what you might find in a temporary office or corporate apartment. It was all a bit uncomfortable, but ok for a short stay.

Windows are floor to ceiling and I can’t remember any way to open (but I wasn’t specifically looking).

There is a lounge which on a Saturday was swamped with an almost entirely American crowd drinking the free wine and who also appeared to have whole plates of food (which I maybe missed?). It was a bit out of the way of Zurich 1, but close to all night rave clubs, if that happens to be your thing

It was extremely good value on a Saturday and I scored a big upgrade so I can’t complain, but would not especially look to rush back.
