Thanks, I’ll try calling them. But maybe that’s a secondary issue - there def seems to be an issue where AA is modifying my traveler info after first flight segment like adding duplicate middle name and things and my hypothesis is bc of a passport scan (same with the space) otherwise it sometimes lets me check in just fine. My passport/TSA don’t have the space digitally just on the printed passport. Weird.
In the passport’s machine readable zone is there a > type character between the Mc and the rest of the name? That’s been a source of this kind of issue before.
