Savannah has an Andaz right on the edge of the historic district. The norm seems to be that Globs get upgraded to small one bedroom suites (mine was on a high floor overlooking the pool deck, toward the river and had a "fireplace" and kitchenette) and buffet breakfast in the restaurant (but not breakfast ordered from the menu). Rates seem reasonable and if you're flying, there's an airport bus stop within about a block of the hotel, although of course they would prefer to arrange for car service.....There are a couple boutique hotels on the riverfront that might be better and an artsy place outside of the historic district that might be the best hotel in town, but I was very happy to stay at the Andaz as a Glob.
