I would agree. Comparing other options at $120, yes. And seeing that you rate it as a 4*, that, too. I always thought that Ws fancy themselves as hip 5* places. I've stayed at three (BKK, BOS and HKG). While I didn't particularly like any of them, I definitely liked Boston the least.
Haha, I think some Ws do fancy themselves as hip 5* places. Few accomplish the 5* part IME.
That being said, I had a poor 1st visit and excellent subsequent visits every time since here at the W Boston. I prefer the RC Boston, but I think it’s closer than some might believe. Of course, air con is a bigger factor for me than most!
(I used to love the Liberty, but my last stay had poor air con, horrible service, and one of the least impressive interactions ever for me with a GM. I’ve sworn off the Liberty until that GM is gone and the hotel fixes its air con problem.)
