I stand by my assessment. Yes, five minute walk to the Ritz, but that first block along Tremont Street from Stuart to Boylston is most definitely grungy. The Ritz, itself, is on a dark and narrow side street. Compare locations, for example, to the Taj (the old, and original, Ritz).

Services at a 5* hotel should be available 24×7. Maybe not so much parking, as many/most guests arrive at hotels without cars, but nearly all arrive with some type of luggage. The front door should always be staffed with someone who is prepared to assist with bags.

At $120, perhaps. But there are plenty of much better hotels in Boston.
