Does AA actually sell the premium economy seats? I was looking at a DFW-ICN for next month and PE was available seatwise, but not for sale. Didn't appear sold out - just not even an option. It was in March though, showing sold out if it was.
The is the first international trip I've booked in a while and PE didn't even exist, so I'm confused.
I noticed the same thing back in the fall. It's some kind of odd thing AA is doing with PE on certain routes. You can read about it here:

Someone speculated they were doing this on DFW-XXX longhaul routes, but that if you searched - e.g. - OKC-DFW-ICN, it would come up for sale in W/P class.
