Have you looked at this web page? My application for the Trusted Traveler program has been denied. Is there anything I can do? it may be helpful in querying why you were denied.

What does it say in your TPP account about reasons? That should guide you on how to submit any additional information. You also have access to your congressional representatives.
One person claiming to be working for CBP on FT has said they know a CBP employee who denies enrollment to anyone considered to be from the “Middle East”. If the OP thinks he’s been wrongfully denied approval because of anti-Muslim bias (even when being mis-perceived as Muslim/Middle Eastern), he should appeal the denial and see what happens. It might take several months to get a response, but at least it should involve getting another set of eyes or two to consider again the GE applicant.
