As another example,, Amex generally doesn't bill the second year annual fee until at least
13+ months from the open date of the card. (This helps given that Amex penalizes people who close the card in the first 12 months, since there is no need to close the card in even the first 13 months if you simply want to close it when the second year annual fee is billed.)
