Many properties in between, most of them in the okay to very good range.
Have to politely disagree with 2 of your 3 "sucked". The SFO Marriott is one of, if not my favorite non beach hotels. Great M Club. I always get an upgrade. Good gym and restaurant. And i am a major aviation nerd so I love the plane watching out on the bay right outside of the hotel.
JW Marriott LA Live: have stayed there a few times and have never had a bad stay. Rooms are great. Club is a little small, but serviceable. Gym is good for a hotel. And its right in the middle of everything.
