20% is a pretty standard discount even for Plats (it's usually in the 20-25% range). Be aware that the discount can fluctuate; IIRC on some high-demand weekends, I saw even just ~10% off some suites as Plat, whereas during slow periods, I could see 50%+ off base rooms.
In any case,
Low Roller's advice is good, as given the standard 72hr cancellation applies, you can just rebook later if the price drops.
