No I mean EF is showing TUN-DXB as saver available on EF yet when you try to book TUN-DXB (not SYD) it only allows flex. Its now irrelevant, I just mention the point as it questions the reliability of EF. I have already realised their upgrades alert is useless and last year I was able to upgrade over the phone on dates EF were showing no availability.
Any way on a positive note I have a window seat and the seat next to me remains empty, the wine list is rubbish though.
There have been some reports recently of EF being in accurate with Saver availability, however still, were you entering a return date into EF, point of sale? There are legitimate reasons why even though the flight in principle might have O available for some configuration of parameters it won't price in O when you search on EK website. Even if EF shows O available for example, for a flight tomorrow, if the published O fares require 7 day advance purchase you would be unable to ticket it.
