Flying EI on Wednesday next 12/19, so the beginning of the Xmas rush. Couple of questions for those experienced in PP Lounges in IAD;
Flight is at 5.40pm, thinking of heading to the airport for 12pm to allow me to work for the afternoon (i.e. get ahead of the afternoon rush)
(1) For the restricted access caveats to BA & VS, am I correct to assume that you'll get kicked out at 2pm & 1.30pm respectively, regardless of being in before that time?
(2) If (1) is answered in the affirmative then it looks like TK is my only option, thus best to go direct there after security for the best chance of being admitted?
YMMV based on how busy they expect to be, but standard practice seems to be to kick everyone out, close briefly, put out better food, and then start letting in only their F/J or gold-level alliance elites.
If you get into the Turkish Liunge early, I don’t think they will find you and kick you out but not sure on this. I tried to access TK around 3 once with PP and was turned away.
