I have a version of this Tumi Tegra-lite and it looks new after 10+ international trips but I mostly use it as a carry on. My $60 large hardside also looks great (it was purchased at Marshalls in San Francisco after the baggage handlers ripped out a zipper in my soft checked suitcase). For your duffel look to Filson, they even make some with wheels. Also, if weight is a concern with your duffel, any great quality non-leather option might have weight issues.
