I too agree that from the volunteered posting here it seems they are not processed in the order they are received.
That's not what I meant. My son and wife both applied online at the same time on August 3. My wife got conditional approval on September 29, but we heard nothing about my son. We live in the southeast USA, and had a family trip planned to Niagara Falls the first week of October. When my wife went for her interview at Ft. Erie, Ontario, we simply asked the interviewer if she could see what the hold up was with my son's application. She looked into it while we were sitting there by checking their computer database. Had his case not already been assigned to someone else, she would've "pulled it from the stack" of pending unassigned applications and done it right there, simply for our convenience. (He's 13 with no criminal history and no international travel. There's no real background to vet for him). But since my son's application was already on some other agent's To Do list, there was nothing she could do to expedite his conditional approval. So, we did only my wife's interview and left. I appreciated them even
trying to see if it could be done.
