Admirals Club members do not have access to all Qantas lounges. They have access to specific Qantas lounges that are "partner lounges".
Very few of the Qantas lounges outside of Australia are partner lounges. Only Auckland, Wellington and Singapore from what I can tell. The others, including LAX, cannot be accessed with Admirals Club membership.
Qantas lounges in international terminals have never been Qantas Clubs.
