Had this been my 1st time to HK Id agree with you. In my case it was more of a way to kill the time w/o spending 5 -6 hrs at the airport. Plus I enjoy riding down Nathan Rd and you cant see anything when on tehtrain, while you can take it all in via the bus, especially if sitting upstairs.
Had I had an appointment to meet up with some folks Id probably go via the AE to make sure I get there and max out the time with them, but thats not the case with me
Its sort of moot now , since I spent 2+ hrs walking around The muslim q last night here in Xi'an, Nathan rd will be a ghost town in comparison
Now should we get in say 20+ mins early then I might still jump on the A21 get off by theSheraton, walk down to the water and walk alitle along NR and hop onto a bus back to HKG, it will still beat spending 6 hrs in the lounge as nice as they are @ HKG
Well no problem with what I should do, the KA XIY-HKG flight is delayed by 2 hours, guess the lounge/s it will be, thx everyone for your help. Im sure it will be needed in the near future on another Asia trip Im planning
