I do not doubt that you have felt unsafe, and so have I.
The thing is that one’s
perception of the state of an aircraft does not mean it is actually unsafe. Equally, just because an aircraft is beautiful and new, and a flight
feels safe, does not by any means rule out the possibility that something is unsafe. Hazardous situations can go unnoticed, without any consequences, for a long time before one day there is an accident.
