If I did this on points I'd want to do 5 night stays (for 5th night free) but if it's close by I could pop over and toss a towel on the floor and mess up the bed or something a couple times.

If you’re going to do a few high end properties next year, your strategy makes sense. I noticed you are on a Platinum challenge and IIRC, award stays don’t count in towards the challenge but I would confirm this to be sure.
