Lufthansa Alu 45 Liter and Rimowa Cabin Plus
Quick question for the experts: is the Rimowa Alu 45 liter pretty much a predecessor of the Rimowa Cabin Plus. It looks like their measurements are almost exact. For the Rimowa Alu I have it at 17.7x22x9.8 and the Cabin Plus at 17.8x22.1x9.9

Would I be able to use the Rimowa Alu 45L as a carry on for transatlantic flights on United or Lufthansa? I like the extra size but if I have to check this piece a lot then I would wave off on buying it.
