Assuming Randy does set forth some minimum like this (which, given the current cluster that is the pyramid congas going on, he should), someone is going to come out on the short end of the stick.

A cut off will have to occur somewhere - and someone will always fall short of that cut off (short of leaving it completely open to all). The easy way around that, however, is to make use of FT for what FT is - points and miles.

I think those of us who are FT regulars for things other than iPods and flat-screen TVs have gotten more out of it than we would have ever gotten by just staying in S.P.A.M. (For me, it took only one $20 ticket to Europe last year.)
