For me, situation varies. If I am flying alone or with two or more companions, I will just go by price/timing combination.

If I am flying with someone, then I will probably pick Delta or Alaska, because complimentary companion upgrades.

I find the AA sticker situation for companions annoying. It is also a sore point for me that I don't earn more stickers as EXP.
