What has has changed so dramatically (if anything) at this property to warrant the 5>6>4 category changes in such a short period of time?

My last two trips, I stayed at the Ren Le Parc Trocadero and enjoyed it, but the Aug 2018 category increase there bumped me over to Ren La Defense given my points balance.
