On the date you mentioned there is the 787 QF15 and a 747 QF55 operating BNE LAX. Probably for the 747 to go to the junk yard afterwards. Seems like the A380 from the Sydney run will be going to JFK that day.
Once QF15/16 goes to 787, they are running extra 3 weekly 747 flights on BNE-LAX (QF55/56) until December when it becomes a 787 and 4 weekly.
ie, 787-9s 5 and 6 are starting daily BNE-LAX-JFK from this Saturday (Sep 1) with 3 weekly 747.
Once 787s 7 and 8 arrive in Nov, they are doing 4 weekly BNE-LAX and up to 8 weekly HKG flights.
