Have we discussed the interaction between those both on the standby and upgrade lists, when economy is full?

Specifically, right now with 80 minutes to departure, my flight is 14 capacity, 13 booked, 11 checked in. Econ full. 4 on th upgrade list, no checkmarks. Sometime in the last 24hrs spot 1 jumped ahead of three MAC's, which anywhere but Canada would be safe to assume a single party.

MACs are also the bottom 3 on STDB (3 checks, 8 numbered).

#1 will get his upgrade. Assuming those who have not checked in are no shoes, that leaves twot seats upfront. The MAC party might be able to break up. Would they get two upfront and skip the list for the back?

Or would they opup some deserving high bucket SE and make room for some solo person high on the stby list?

I guess we will see
