I have been saying I am going to become a free agent for years. Sadly, I doubt it will ever happen. Delta offers the best flight choices out of my location and they treat me pretty well. I like to think of skymiles as just a nice added benefit for what I have to do regardless(travel). Company pays for 98% of the traveling I do, so it’s not like I am paying for these miles. I have found that if you are extremely flexible you can get pretty good value for D1 flights. Now if I was actually paying for these miles on my own dime I would not be to pleased at all with the sky high redemption levels.
