To the failures . . . well, perhaps a tweak in strategy is needed.
As the OP of this infamous thread, I have really enjoyed posting some of my successes. Reading other peeps' reports, and occasional complaints, but, for me, I'm somewhat sad, as I will be losing Diamond status on Feb 1, 2019, likely along with many others who won't be able to meet the new
QUARTER OF A MILLION DOLLAR Amex threshold
. But, I really can't complain. I have genuinely enjoyed all of the perks of DM status to the fullest, particularly as someone who alwayz buyz the cheapest tickets.
I do have one last set of 2 unused GUCs that I'm saving for just the right situation. I'm not sure exactly where they will take me. I'll surely post it here when I book my trip!
