Terminal E is expanding - last I heard they're doing 7 new gates with a total of 560,000 sqft of new space split between passenger amenities, gates, potential new ticket desks, and expanded CBP space. They're also building a pedestrian connection to the Blue Line station. 4 gates will come online in about 5 years, with the additional 3 and the finished space in 2028.
If anyone's interested there's some initial renderings of what the exterior and interior of the new terminal will possibly look like. Kind of looks like a big red boomerang. Took some time to grow on me, but I think it'll be pretty unique when it's done if they go with this design:
