Does a customs violation in another country (not US or Canada) affect your Nexus renewal? I am going to apply for renewal soon and got an infringement in New Zealand last month for failing to declare an item. On the spot fine of $400 NZD, paid it straight away at the airport. The customs officer told me it's treated like a speeding ticket, and once it's paid you don't have to worry about it anymore. Just wondering if anyone has a similar experience having a customs violation in a different country and still retaining/renewing their NEXUS. Thanks!
