as mentioned by others already, only the non-attached Travel Package certs are non-usable between Aug 18 to Sept 18, all other certs are usable as normal. Including certs from new Travel Package starting Aug 18. If you have a stay for Sept 22, you can book that now using your points or your cert, no issue what so ever. And since you stated "the night of September 22", that seems you are booking for a single night anyway, hence the Aug 18 to Sept 18 period thing does not apply to you.
