Not sure if this is exactly the correct forum, but here goes:
Flew DL last Saturday CAK-DTW-SEA, booked into Comfort + and crediting to Virgin Australia (flight credits as W, which is Premium Economy).
CAK-DTW leg was delayed 3 hours due to flight attendant's tablet dying and paper manual needing to be printed onsite before they were able to take off (don't get me started on that one, but the amount of booze served and flight redirections probably exceeded whatever fine the FAA would have levied!).
Myself and my partner missed our connection at DTW and DL automatically rebooked us onto the next DTW-SEA direct flight, but with downgrade to Y. Flight has come through to Virgin crediting as Y.
I made a complaint through Delta's website and received the obligatory cut-and-paste with 2 x $50 vouchers and advising that a refund of the difference would be done within the next 2 statement cycles.
Firstly, is this something where an ORC comes into play (and I should be asking for flight to be correctly credited) and secondly, is 2 x $50 vouchers + difference refund an appropriate level of compensation?
Thank you in advance
