I personally prefer collapsable bottles for flying (if I'm going in a car I've had good luck with both Kleen Canteen and Hydro Flask). I find the Vapur type bottles harder to drink out of, they don't stand by themselves and the narrow openings make them harder to clean. My bottle for the last few years has been a HydraPak Stash collapsible. HydraPak Stash Unlike the Vapur's, it goes in the dishwasher and has a wide opening that makes it easy to clean. It is also will stand up when full. Downside is since I've dishwasher it a few times the ring has gotten slightly deformed so it is a little harder to fold. It also won't stand up as well when it is partially empty and is a little tricky to handle one handed in such a state.

The Wirecuttter has reviews on water bottles (see link below). If I were flying more regularly, I would be severely tempted to pull the trigger on a Nomander as it looks to be a bit better to use one handed and partially full. At the moment I'm not flying enough to justify buying a new water bottle.
