I was there the first week of June and while I did not stay I did do an inspection. Agree it is great for a one night stopover but I woild be hard pressed to want to stay more than one night. The private lagoon area is lovely but part of the fun of the Blue Lagoon experience was mingling and talking with people in the lagoon. The hotel itself is very minimalist. If you are starting or ending a cruise in Reykjavik and do not want to stay in town it is a great alternative. We always have a car when we are in Iceland so we can explore. Actually the Reykjanes Peninsula, where the Blue Lagoon is located and its an uncrowded, beautiful area to explore.
