What would have told them that you were not one of those people?

What is a 'casual bag checker' and who 'relys on gate checking"?
I am a casual bag checker. I carry on 90% of my 100 flights a year. But there are times when I am carrying a larger roller board (suit, extra stuff, jackets etc) and I do not want to drag it through the airport or I am flying to airports that have very quick and minimal baggae claim areas. In this case both SAT and GSP are very easy airports to get in and out of. Also there are times when you jusy know that the plane is heavy Prem and Sky and I do not want to battle others for overhead space at 5:45am in the morning. That is my definition of a casual bag checker.
