Any idea what these "ineligible fare classes" might be? I've just booked HKG-KUL-PEN with a "Q" fare basis (though the domestic sector booked into "L"). Flight from HKG is on the A330, so would be cool to upgrade if possible,

[By the way: do they always serve the Satay on HKG-KUL like they would on a proper longhaul flight? It's been a while since I flew MH - can'r remember the short-haul catering scheme]
