My point was a reference to a comment upthread that the tags are cheaper and thinner than last year which were cheaper and thinner than the year before that.

I get that the tag is just a tag and some people don't use them or care. But I hold my doesn't-bend-when-you-look-at-it card and tags from other airlines and I think it reflects poorly on AC. I.M.H.O.

It's like someone in purchasing or marketing looks and says "Hey, we can save a dime if we use thinner cards and we can save another dime if we switch to those plastic things to hold the tags". How quickly that poor decision became obvious and now there are boxes of the metal wires in the MLLs graciously offered by the desk agents.

The SE100K - 1M detail on the digital card in Wallet looks so much better than the "MMiler logo thingy" just below it. Barely visible.

Still, I am excited to have climbed the mountain and can now rest on top. Briefly.
