I looked online and found a "standard room reward" available for the night I want. But when I call to use the certificate (from the Aspire), I'm told that there are no "standard" rooms available. The "standard room reward" available online is a "king bed deluxe room" (which apparently isn't a "standard" room, despite being classified as a "standard room reward" online) - and the Conrad HK website doesn't seem to show any lower tier rooms of any kind (i.e., the base room seems to be called "deluxe"). Was this just an error on the rep's part, or is there really no way to book a night at the Conrad Hong Kong with a weekend night certificate? I've been poking around for a while, but I can't find any other info on this. It seems like others in the past have been able to use certificates at Conrad HK - but I'm not sure how. Does anyone have any insight? Any help/advice greatly appreciated.
Error on reps part. Simple as that. the Deluxe rooms are the ones that qualify when "standard" rooms are available, although sometimes they are also available as "premium". If it says "Standard Room Reward" at the Conrad HK site, then the certificate is a valid form of payment (must be on a weekend night though).
