Maybe as of tomorrow, 23 July 2018 one could use it on the MRT (blue line/subway, and purple line, which is currently a sky-train servicing the northern/northwestern suburbs). Let's see what happens.
It's all very confusing, but I think you may need a Thai national ID card to get the mangmoom card, and you can only get one card per ID #.
