No. Precheck has always been horrible at BWI. More so in the mornings. It's been like this before Clear existed. TBH it's probably worse because more people are flying and the economy is doing better.
BWI and HNL in the mornings are my top ranked most horrible security lines.
I want to say it should be getting better since BWI-EWR are being discontinued. That's at least a Boeing/Airbus plane that won't be flying out either in the morning bank or afternoon bank of flights.
The BWI-EWR is almost always an E 145 so not really that many pax to affect the security line during those times. It is also all the other airlines that feed thru that checkpoint that cause the traffic problems. I take the early flights out of BWI quite a bit & have almost been burned by security also. BTW, the security checkpoint there does not open until 4:30 am, even though it says 4 am on the website. No need to get there much earlier unless you want to get in the front of the line waiting for the checkpoint to open.
