To the extent that PreCheck offers expedited security, so does TLV. Other than removing laptops, the magnetometer and xray experience in Israel is basically like pre 9/11 security in the US - no removal of shoes, liquids, and no body scanners. The additional security is all pre check-in, which is something that isn't even conceptualized in the US.

2. Not too much politics - if the U.S. and Israel are really that closed, TLV should have been a U.S. preclearance POE.
Regardless of how eligible Israel is for preclearance, it would never happen. There's not enough volume. It's not worth opening a US CBP facility for the 10.5 flights per day (off the top of my head) that go to the US, especially since I think 7 of them leave within a 2 hour window, so you would need to have ridiculous staffing volumes and secluded gate areas for 7 flights at a time that would hardly get used the rest of the day.
