Not the case today. TSAPre on my boarding pass ex-CDG, showed the boarding pass to the chap who pretends to "work for the American government" (the attraction to sound important/intimidating/cool seems to be bigger than the ability to realize how ridiculous such a statement is, even if formally not untrue). He did not even take a look, I could have been flying to Ajaccio and he wouldn't have noticed, only looked at the passport. I showed him my BP again, pointed out TSAPre, he just shrugged his shoulders and said he never heard of it. And carried on with his questions...
