Yeah, the original number is a lot stickier than it looks and the AY MMB seems to stop working as a fix for this.

As for my situation, it is slowly turning into a full blown dumpster fire... now DFW-GRU is also credited QR. To recap, even though all my boarding passes and on the MMB page have ONLY AY number, 3 out of the 4 segments credited to QR (the one that did credit to AY is the penultimate one, which makes it even more perplexing...)
