I was. But then I saw that the prices where about 150$/day extra if I would have one-wayed it to LAX. And I want to go to Vegas, watching Knights play then the day after I'll begin my 7 day road-trip towards Denver with a bunch of stops, any tips on good stops, eg. National Parks is appreciated, along the way then making my way back to LA.

Since I'm planning on stopping at some national parks and since it's winter I guess that I must have AWD and at least All-Weather tires (used to winter driving so that's no problem as long as I have tires for the job :P )
