says it will be up to you, exactly like at Courtyard.

Ie, you'll get your choice of 500 points or a $10 F&B credit for two. If you choose the latter, you'll get your choice of using it for breakfast or something else. If you can't figure out a breakfast for less than $10, you'll only get part ($10) coverage for the breakfast.

At the Courtyard Bistro, it's easy to get breakfast for under $10 if all you want for breakfast is the yogurt granola fruit parfait. If you want more, it's a bit more iffy.

I'm not familiar enough with the typical AC breakfast costs to know how far $10 will get you there.

Another thing that is unclear yet is whether one person can use two $10 F&B credits for themselves, if they have no guest (whether by making a reservation for 2 even though you're traveling solo, of whatever). I doubt Marriott will spell that out; I suspect we'll have to wait for datapoints, which can't come until after August.
