I don't think that it would be confusing with older aircrafts. It would be confusing in terms of product presentation: The larger MoM plane would be given a smaller number than the 737. Alternatives are
- Using 757-X or 767-X (with X >400) if the plane's technical specs remotely resemble either planes.
- 797
- Starting a new numbering system 808, 818, ... or 7007, 7117, 7227, 7337, 7447, 7557, ...
- Giving them names. <XY>liner
